Q. what makes these stockings unique?
ANS: these stockings are hand stitched 1 at a time from a Bucilla felt kit.
Q. What determines the price?
ANS: The price is determined by the number of hours to create, 40 or more, the cost of the kit and there are over 100 pieces per stocking not including all the sequins,beads and the embroidery.
Q. Where do your kits come from?
ANS: My kits come from suppliers from the web because the arts & craft stores don't seem to have them any more, however I have many older kits that are retired and these kits will sell as much as a finished stocking. Look on ebay!
Q. If a kit will sell as much why not sell the kit instead of the finished product.
Ans: It is a labor of love, the challenge, the pride of seeing a project from beginning to end. I am in over 800 homes-How Special Is That!
Q. What about other products?
Ans: Sewing is my 2nd love in life. It is something I do that brings me pleasure and some income. To create a craft is fun, rewarding and time well spent.
Q. What did I do before?
Ans: I worked in corporate America as a Communications Specialist for Ameritech aka SBC aka AT
& T. I loved my career the money, the benefits were great, falling on my spine left me to do my hobby - sewing and the pride cannot be measured. I am international.
Q.What am I working on now?
ANS: Moving all my sewing & crafts to our 1100 sq ft basement and wow what a project that is.
Q. Do I take special orders.
ANS: No I do not because the response was over whelming and the stress was also. Being disabled I sew when I can for as long as I can and try to offer a selection. My first year of special orders I made 13 of the same stocking. This is SEW much more fun. ASK me about something you are interested in because I have alot of products that I have not listed. Listing is also time consuming.
Q.What is 1st love?
Ans: Writing, I write every day in journals and my own short stories. A published book would be a dream come true. first I would have to have the courage to write it.
